Proud to be Sri Lanka’s most trusted hospital for compassionate and quality healthcare

Our inpatient ward facility offers 58 beds across three accommodation tiers to match varying clinical needs and budget preferences. The General Ward (18 beds, shared rooms with curtains for privacy) provides affordable care with nursing stations at each pod, common television area, and shared bathrooms (cleaned 4x daily). Semi-Private Rooms (22 beds, 2 beds per room) feature en-suite bathrooms, individual wardrobes, patient-controlled lighting/temperature, and a visitor chair. Private Rooms (16 beds, single occupancy) offer queen-size electrically adjustable beds, sofa-cum-bed for attendant, 32-inch LED TV, mini-refrigerator, personal safe, and window views. Two Deluxe Suites (for VIPs or long-stay patients) have living room, pantry, and private balcony. All rooms are centrally air-conditioned with HEPA filtration (reducing airborne infections), nurse call buttons at bedside and in bathroom, 24/7 piped medical oxygen and suction, and anti-bedsore mattresses for immobile patients. Our ward includes a dedicated physiotherapy area, a visitors' lounge, a pantry for attendant meals, and a rooftop healing garden accessible to mobile patients.
What makes our inpatient care exceptional is not the infrastructure but the nursing philosophy of "compassionate vigilance." Our nurse-to-patient ratios meet or exceed regulatory requirements. All nursing staff are trained in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, with rapid response team activation available for deteriorating patients. Hourly rounding is mandatory: we check the "4 P's" - Pain, Potty, Position, and Possessions. Bedside handover happens every shift change with you present. For post-operative patients, we have ambulation protocols - getting you walking soon after surgery. Our food services provide customized therapeutic diets with restaurant-style ordering from a menu - food delivered hot and promptly.
What to pack for admission: loose, front-opening pajamas or nighties, slip-on slippers with grip soles, your own toiletries, phone charger with long cable, glasses, hearing aids with extra batteries, CPAP machine if you use one, and a small comfort item from home. Do NOT bring valuable jewelry, large cash amounts, or multiple electronic devices. What we provide: hospital gowns, towels, blankets, pillows, bed linens, soap, a drinking water jug, and a bedside locker with key. Attendant guidelines: one attendant allowed per patient. Attendants can stay overnight. Visiting hours are designated and strictly enforced for patient rest. Silent hours are observed overnight.
